wow, that's not good. Sorry it happened to you and hope the new door glass is in stock
Update- got the tractor back about a week ago. They say the brass in the filter came from the pump (not sure if one pump runs just the transmission or all the hydraulics as well?) and some of that brass had also found its way into the pto bearings. They also had troubles with calibrating the clutch and had to replace a sensor. I didn’t ask too many questions, I’m not very familiar with how it all works.Update- they came out today, guy thinks the clutch pedal works as normal, I don’t really agree. I run large Deeres 100s of hours per year, and the clutch on this tractor just doesn’t feel right. Sometimes it feels just fine to me and other times if I had to creep ahead 6” or so there is now way I could do it, I very slowly let of the clutch and the tractor jumps a few feet.
He acknowledged the transmission clunk, but the pto seemed ok aside from a little noise upon start up. He said he was gonna recalibrate the pto, 3 pt, and change the high pressure trans filter. I had to leave before he finished up. Just got back and took the tractor for a drive, all issues still remain. PTO seemed better initially but after driving the tractor around for a half hour or so and trying again it started making loud noises and throwing the code again.
EDIT: I just got off the phone with the service manager, there was bunch of chunks of brass and metal in the filter. They are gonna come get it next week and tear into it. Wish they would have told me that before I just drove it around for an hour LOL oh well, I’ll be happy as long as they get it taken care of.
I still like mine. I just got it back today from a shattered door. The windows and doors were installed incorrectly after the tint was applied which made the door alignment off. That is what the door shatter. For the bushog, a 10' should be fine but I cannot speak to the baler. You still liking your 4707? I am considering buying one with in a year. I am trying to find out everything I can on these machines. This forum is awesome! I am very interested in the the Dyna 2 transmission. How is line of site out front window with the FL3615? Does loader obstruct front view much? Does this machine have enough power to run a 8' to 10' bush hog or a 4x4 bailer on 20+ degree slopes or should I go to a 4708 or 4709? I only have 20 acres of pasture and 10 acres wooded. Want to make sure I buy the right size tractor the first time. I would appreciate any input and suggestions you have. Thanks in advance.
Found it water in fuel.Anyone happen to know what fault code E 31 97 is?
Hey would you be able to ask your dealer what the tweak(s) are he is doing for the AC?I'm excited for you. I'm still waiting on mine. From what I've seen on Youtube, read on the 4700 Group on FB, and read on here, the things that I would want to make sure of, are the remote lift buttons on the rear fenders. Do they work properly? And the clutch seems to be an issue in getting it to feather, or release smoothly when in low gear. My dealer said that he will tweek my AC to make it work better. Something about it not being as good as it can be from the factory, and that he fixes that before delivery.
I've been waiting on mine to arrive since November

Oof - Yeah if your relations are getting strained, I wouldn't worry about asking him on it - But if ya do happen to find out, would love to know!I think he mentions it in one of his Youtube videos. It's PR Equipment. As of right now, I've been waiting on mine to arrive since November, so my dealer and I are not on the best of terms. I don't blame him, but it seems like it's getting harder and harder to get him to return my calls and emails. It's been over a month since I last spoke to him, so he's due for another call from me to see what the latest lie is on my tractor. I'll ask him about the AC then.
I'd like to piggy-back on this as well with my 4710 - Basically in the lower gears, if you try to feather the clutch by depressing it partially to slow the tractor down further than that gear allows (and get some more precision - think inching forward) - it doesn't quite work. Those lower gears (I've got the 12x12, not the dyna 2 tho) for some reason are an On/Off, there really is no feathering- Better off putting it in like low 5 and feathering. I can't recall which gears its jerky in but 1 and 2 definitely are a no-go in my 4710, I can't remember if 3 and 4 also don't allow the precision. Can you elaborate? I literally have only driven a tractor a handful of times on the dealer lot. Is this only for when you're trying to do precise movements with the clutch?
I'm guessing I'm approaching 100hrs on my 4707. Hasn't been super hot here, but AC seems sufficient.Oof - Yeah if your relations are getting strained, I wouldn't worry about asking him on it - But if ya do happen to find out, would love to know!

It can be anytime, and you never know when. Sometimes its perfectly fine, other times it grabs so hard it throws you back in your seat (forward) or you about eat the steering wheel (reverse). Don't try blowing snow or doing loader work near your house or shop or you just might end up going through a wall. Or for example if you are parking the tractor close behind a pickup in your garage/shop you have to be extremely careful so you don't end up with a smashed vehicle. This is partially why I wanted to buy one that was in stock. It's possible that the dealer is told "oh yeah we can get new orders to you in 3 months", but it's also possible that the factory is telling dealers "12 months for new orders" and the dealer just tells sweet lies to keep the orders rolling. Unfortunately with how dealer/company sales is set up they can just easily shift blame and you'll never really know. Unless they have some way of showing you on a computer your order status etc. I wonder if companies will start to roll out public order status websites to help keep consumes in the loop and keep their dealers accountable.
