I know the feeling I ordered some metal pieces for my nephew to fix his round baler, the expensive one foot piece of square tubing is still in processing yesterday. A u-joint took several days to process and actually ship still hasn't got here yet. A yoke from a small dealer has made it here a few days ago, purchased at the same time.Kinda upset with Palmer power. Ordered that ring gear 8 days ago, as it was in stock. Still says "awaiting shipment." I have emailed palmer, and they don't know what is going on, but they must have ordered it from a vendor. Meanwhile, my tractor sits in the shop. Kinda messed up that is how they run it.....show it in stock, pay good money for it, but don't actually know if there is one to be had. It has already posted on my account, so I have paid for it already too
Others, 4 different places. You ordered from palmer or someone else?
I have a 1972 Datsun B610 alternator on the YM2610. I thought it was bad, took it into O'Reiliey to be tested. It was fine, so, I'm still tracking this battery drain issue. I asked, if it was bad, do they stock one in the store. Nope, it would take 4-weeks to get one in!Others, 4 different places.
DJC a u-joint, a higher capacity 35 series joint order July 24 th is now supposed to be here the 5th of August,
Then from Metals Depot ordered the same day charged to my paypal account the 25th is still in processing.
Then the order from metal supermarkets was only 2 days behind expected.
Then the McMaster Carr order was anticipated to be a one day delivery from NJ to me and now is suppsed to be here Monday.
Order a u-joint yoke from Burch Store Tractors, had it in my hand in 3 days, that's the way it should be.
I haven't checked but I expect that alternator is available immediately on Amazon.I have a 1972 Datsun B610 alternator on the YM2610. I thought it was bad, took it into O'Reiliey to be tested. Yes, the supply chain is still broken. This is the NEW NORMAL.
Wouldn't a simple voltmeter investigation reveal which wire at the ignition switch has voltage when it shouldn't?... I'm still tracking this battery drain issue.
