Songs you don’t play at a funeral

No way! (I mean: “No way, man!”) So many of their songs are about mortality and coming to terms with it. Here’s the lyrics of just a few: http://artsites.ucsc.edu/gdead/agdl/brok.html http://artsites.ucsc.edu/gdead/agdl/pete.html http://artsites.ucsc.edu/gdead/agdl/bmr.html...

Why? You do know you don’t have to click on it, right? You’re free to stay in a safe space and not view it. It’s existence won’t make you melt. I just don’t get why you think other people shouldn’t see it or participate in it. Not everybody has the same sense of humor.

I can be done. I’d practice for a few years before you do one where it really counts. What is a q tip tree? If the tree is strong enough, and the ground wet enough, depending on what type of tree it is, and it’s root system, it’s sometimes safer to pull the whole tree over, root ball and all...

4 wheel drive all the time? or just when needed

In simplest terms: On an all wheel drive car: No, front and rear axles are not locked together. On a four wheel drive car: Yes, same for 4wd truck, tractor, etc. That’s the difference between a transfer case and a differential. More complicated systems are… more complicated.

    Calculating energy usage for appliances

    Calculating energy usage for appliances

Watt/hours is very different than watt x hours (watt-hours). Watt-hours are just Joules (energy). While mph x hours = miles traveled (distance), mph/hr would be a measure of acceleration ( often measured in ft/sec^2, or meters/sec^2) . Not sure where Watt/hr would ever be used as a measurement...

    Calculating energy usage for appliances

“Should it be 3000W/hrs?” I don’t think so. Power (Watts), like speed (mph), is a RATE. The rate of something else. Power is the rate of Energy used and Speed is the rate of distance traveled, based on Time. The term “Watt” already has the “per second” or (“per time”) built into it. (It’s a...

I think you mean it draws 12.5 amps. At 240V, 12.5 amps would be expected for a 3000W rated heater. (240v x 12.5A = 3000W) Running this heater for 2.5 hours consumes 7500watt-hrs (7.5kW-hrs) Watt-hours is a rather weird unit to use for Energy. The System International (SI) (metric) unit for...

    Calculating energy usage for appliances

Yes. Multiple the wattage times the amount of hours it runs to get the Energy in Watt-hour units. Power is the rate of Energy being applied. Power = Energy/time. So Energy = Power x time. For single phase power, which is usually just 2 wires and a ground, 120V or 240V, the Power is volts x...

    Stabilizing clamp on forks?

If it works, it works! …but when it doesn’t, having the forks under the load keeps the load closer to the tractor. This is less leverage that will lift the rear of the tractor and the FEL has a greater lift capacity operating in its “breakout” range.

Hay Wagon running gear deck replacement ideas

Remember that the height of your main stringers or beams might determine the clearance between the tires and the bottom of the deck. IMHO more is better. All kidding aside; any chance Bigfoot is out there?

People are seeing “something”. Is it an unknown creature, alien, hallucination, suggestibility, or some other unknown phenomena? Who knows. What they are seeing is unexplained. I don’t think possible money or fame has anything to do with it. Many witnesses don’t want to be identified because...

Again, how do you, vs someone else, measure that talent? As you say, it’s not popularity, two people will give two different results in any measurement of talent, which is just another word for their subjective opinion. To quote Milli Vanilli: “Girl, you know it’s true!” [emoji16]

Naw, IMHO you’re just substituting words: “talent” for “best”. What makes them talented? I argue that it’s subjective. Often, it’s the simplest music that is the best. PTO snowblower?

A snowblower doesn’t need the weight and travels on clear ground unlike a rear blade. (I wouldn’t “push” a rear blade, only “pull”).
