I’m not telling you to buy a bigger tractor. Sharing in case you’re worried about it. I bought an L6060 5 years ago and thought it was going to be way too big. Fast forward 4 years and I upgraded to a 5115M, which I thought was going to be way too big. It’s not. I love it.

Where are you looking? Snow loads vary vastly across the UP. Even within a few miles can vary 50+ inches a year. Connect with locals before buying is my recommendation. I am willing to help too if desired.

I put colored zip ties on as well, with a second red tie on the cylinder return lines. Red for return felt easy to remember. So I have a blue, blue red, green, green red, brown, brown red. Makes it easy to hook implements up correctly the first time.

Update: dealer replaced the welded mounting bracket and everything works as intended now. The spring pin will release when fully curled even without any attachments.

I do agree the bolts are too short though.

Tractor only has 29 hours on it and very little loader use. I’d be surprised if they rattled out. Maybe though I guess. If they did you’d think there’d be a lot more people complaining.

Comparing pictures it sure looks like either my bolt on plate is too small or the welded on mounting plate is welded too low on the loader?

It does not automatically lock with just the loader. Looking at it in the fully curled position without any attachments there is about 1/8” gap between the bump plate and spring pin. When I add the bucket that gap disappears but it’s not enough to force it to bump, I think the weight and...

That’s a good point I can just swap out the electrical switch. I had the diverter for my snowblower wings. I replaced my with a tee fitting so both wings operate together and it’s a much better experience. It was super awkward to control them independently with the momentary switch.

I have one that you have to hold a button down to divert to the second output, I don’t like it because you have to hold it down instead of toggling a switch. I was hoping you were going to tell me about an awesome one I can switch to.

my loader has the curved steel plate that seven gables mention and it automatically latches when I hook the bucket up but not the forks. The forks are AP16G by frontier and weigh 550lbs. I am wondering if the plate can be adjusted somehow?

That’s what I am trying to do. It doesn’t trip when the new attachment swings into position. I’ll have to look to see if I’m missing the small trip plate pictured above.

That’s disappointing that they’re trying to make you pay while it’s under warranty. Are you able to view the fuel separators, or have a sample of the fuel analyzed? I was thinking there is a code for water in fuel.

Yeah, both the RB and the RBT can be offset. I think I’m going to go with the RBT3986 with one cylinder for angle and I can always add more cylinders later if necessary but for snow cleanup the occasional manual offset shouldn’t be a big deal.
