Global / euro unexpected benefit with bucket

I have the global system and the reason for this post was to say I like it and that this is an unexpected benefit. Glad to hear it’s normal because I like it! Thank you.

Global / euro unexpected benefit with bucket

What I am trying to say is in the fully forward or near fully forward position there is some play in the loader attachment. Here’s a video with my forks attached. In the video I am moving them by hand. It’s the same with the bucket. It is not loose like this at other positions within the curl...

Global / euro unexpected benefit with bucket

Hello, Only have about 45 hours of seat time with my global / euro attachment system on a 5m series tractor at this point. One thing I didn’t realize when I ordered it is how the bucket would swing freely when in the fully forward dump position. This really helps ensure all of the material is...

Global / euro pallet forks fell off

Hello, Only have about 45 hours of seat time with my global / euro attachment system on a 5m series tractor at this point. I was using my AP12G pallet forks this weekend and something that's new to me in comparison to SSQA attachments is in the fully curled forward position the forks (and...

New Tractor for buyer new to tractors

I’m not telling you to buy a bigger tractor. Sharing in case you’re worried about it. I bought an L6060 5 years ago and thought it was going to be way too big. Fast forward 4 years and I upgraded to a 5115M, which I thought was going to be way too big. It’s not. I love it.

Marking / taging / labeling hydraulic lines the cheap way.

I put colored zip ties on as well, with a second red tie on the cylinder return lines. Red for return felt easy to remember. So I have a blue, blue red, green, green red, brown, brown red. Makes it easy to hook implements up correctly the first time.

Road boss 7' or 8' commercial decision - Deere 5115M

Thanks and sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with your 5115m. I've had mine for around 40 hours now and it's been a huge upgrade from my Kubota L6060. It's been my experience that all tractors have problems (my Kubota did, my Deere did/does). I went with the Deere because I had a...

Road boss 7' or 8' commercial decision - Deere 5115M

Road boss 7' or 8' commercial decision - Deere 5115M

I think I am over 12k lbs with the 540m MSL loader with cutting edge and R34 rear Nokian snow tires filled with rim guard. I also have two sets of wheel weights on the rear. I believe the road boss 7’ is 7 feet of cutting edge. Thanks for the tip on draft control. It sounds like you all are...

Road boss 7' or 8' commercial decision - Deere 5115M

Hi all, Going to purchase either the commercial 7' or 8' road boss grader to go behind my 5115M. The website lists the following for the specs and I'm having a tough time making my decision. The rear wheels on the tractor are set to 82" exterior to exterior, so I think the 7 footer would cover...

PTO rookie - questions about disassembly and greasing

Thanks to both of you, it sounds like to properly do this greasing I will need to disconnect the drive shaft from both the tractor side and the snowblower gearbox side so that the other guard can slip off and I can separate the drive shafts I was thinking it might be able to be done by leaving...

Hi all, The snowblower (Cyclone) I bought is from a Canadian company (Pronovost) that mostly speaks French and I do not. screamin400 I switched from a kubota l6060 with a front mount mid PTO blower to a Deere 5115m with a 92” Cyclone and R34 Nokian snow tires. Unbelievable upgrade. Totally agree with you this is the way to go. We get 200+” of snow a year in the UP for Michigan.

Global / euro not automatically latching

Nope, they used the Deere spec bolts. I wonder why they are so short?

Global / euro not automatically latching

Tractor only has 29 hours on it and very little loader use. I’d be surprised if they rattled out. Maybe though I guess. If they did you’d think there’d be a lot more people complaining.

Global / euro not automatically latching

Thanks I see it now. And yes I agree and noticed earlier about the chunk missing. But I think that tear and push back is more of a problem than the chunk missing. I imagine they can grind and re-weld a mounting plate in the right position. Separately, looking closer, are these gaps normal...

Global / euro not automatically latching

Yes it’s a new tractor. It’s back at the dealer for a list of other issues and I added this one to the list but I was hoping to better understand myself. I’m not a welder, can you tell me more about the tearing? I’m not sure I see what you’re seeing. Thanks.
  27. J

Global / euro not automatically latching

Comparing pictures it sure looks like either my bolt on plate is too small or the welded on mounting plate is welded too low on the loader?
  28. J

Global / euro not automatically latching

It does not automatically lock with just the loader. Looking at it in the fully curled position without any attachments there is about 1/8” gap between the bump plate and spring pin. When I add the bucket that gap disappears but it’s not enough to force it to bump, I think the weight and...

Need heavier hydraulic top and side link suggestions JD 6120M

That’s a good point I can just swap out the electrical switch. I had the diverter for my snowblower wings. I replaced my with a tee fitting so both wings operate together and it’s a much better experience. It was super awkward to control them independently with the momentary switch.

How do I create a level grade with a landscape rake (LR1684) & gauge wheels?
