I keep running across lots of praise for the Farmpro line of tractors. What makes them so good? Afterall they are Jinmas are they not?

Picked up an interesting 20 or so page book at the local Deere dealer today. It gives a decent overview of haying. DSAD32746 (04-03)is the number,and date on it.

Does he mean 2002 ? It would be paid inventory,and probably at the higher price before the reductions AGCO had across the board on CUTs.

Basically the same tractors,just different colors. I don't really think any brand or color is worth the extra $$$ these days. Unless it is the only one out there with a certain option you figure you can not live without for any longer!!

Anyone had a chance to see these yet? I saw a 481 with mfd and the new factory cab last week. For a $41,500 frostback econo tractor it was very interesting.

Re: AGCO\'s new site is up....... So far AGCO has said they will leave Valtra intact. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I doubt if SISU will ever replace Perkins......Deutz in the Fendts maybe though.

Re: AGCO\'s new site is up....... hey Chipperman, The Valtra deal has not cleared all of the regulatory bodies yet. The EU just OK'ed it on Dec.12th. They expect everything to be finalized in January from what I'm hearing.

I'm starting to see the 90 series licensed Fiats made by DFH showing up in Europe. Is anyone importing them to North America yet? Or thinking about it? Has anyone seen one of these yet,especially the 80-90 copy?

It's not made by Agco. They are made by Iseki for Agco. Good tractors though all the same. Its about time they got their prices competitive

You said that you had a Valmet? Which model was it? When and where did you dispose of it? What parts could you not get? No,it is not a grey. Today they are known as Valtra. www.valtra.com

I'd say that the $15,700 price is kinda high then(but could be a trade price,not cash). It should be more in the $14,000-14,500 range. Especially if you have no trade-in.

I'd do as the PitBull suggested. It's still a used tractor,and should be worth at least 15% or more less than a new one. How much warranty is left on it? I'd also take the serial# to another dealer and have them run it for you. Might just be surprising on what you find out!!
