30" LED Lightbar install on 5 series cab tractor

I haven't seen a light bar installed on the front of a new 5 series deere cab tractor and I can see why. It was a pain to design a backet that would fit in the stock mounting holes and give plenty of clearance for the light bar. Took a couple hrs but it's done and I love it! One of the best mods to the tractor yet. I have to do a bunch of work at night after my boy goes to sleep (baby monitor has great range) and with the stock lights it was difficult at best.

Only negative is it kills my fm radio reception.

Nice looking! The led light bars do emit a RF field that I am not suprised knocks out FM reception. Fluorescent lights will do it also. I put a 30 inch LED bar on my ROPS and it works great. Almost too good! I believe there are ballasts in the bars that are causing the issue. Try taking your antenna and connecting a wire to ground temporarily and see if that gains your reception back. Let me know.

Nice. I have a couple of off road lights on the front of my tractor that get beat up all the time and I need to get something like this. Good to hear they give off enough light to keep working once it gets dark out.

Thanks. I recommend this if your going to do anything at night. Made a world of difference. When the days get shorter I get way behind. Hopefully this will help me keep my head above water when it get dark

This is exactly what I was going to do... How did you mount it to the ROPS?

I'll have to try and take some pics Monday. It mounts in the stock holes for the option front cab lights. The bracket I made lowers it and brings it out and in so it doesn't interfere with the windshield while still giving good visibility.

Deere factory lights are halogen I think. Mine has stock ones on the rear and they are ok. It gets to dusty before I run out of light. On the front end, the only lights were on the hood and the loader would block it. At night it was terrible trying to do anything.

I'll try to snap some tomorrow. I'm sure there's an easier or better way to do it and if I made another set I know what I'd do differently but it works really well

Planning on a light bar similar to yours. I will leave the forward lights I already have though and go with a narrower light bar. I also realized I need a flood mounted on the front right cab corner to light up in front of my mower better.

I can see the mower great, it's the area in front of the mower that's the problem now.

What are we seeing in the pic? I'm thinking the green is a fender of the 5083, but what is the orange attachment ??

The orange attachment is my Kuhn gmd600 hd disc mower. The curtain is removed to be replaced. That is a view out the side rear window of the 5083.

Not the best pic. I used material I had around the house. 1" sch 40 pipe with a plate welded at the top and drilled for bolt. Fire hose washer for abrasion/vibration resistance. 2" flat bar coming off pipe and another piece of 2" welded perpendicular.
