It finally stopped freezing, I continued with the stucco and finished first layer on both gate posts.

Thank you. We had brackets on the old fence and I knocked them off quite often when cutting grass, thats why I figured these folding hangers.

Smart!!!! That solves a lot of issues of things sticking out in the way when not being used.

Finally finished the small gate.

Of course, now it needs a hook to hang a Christmas wreath on. The wife is never happy unless there is decoration involved.

Thank you gents,

I used white oak that we cut down with my son and milled myself. Boards are shiplaped and the top arch is half of an oval.

Here is wife's contribution gotta love her.
