I''ve owned mine 4 years, 300+ hours, no regrets. It was perfect for my previous property and is still perfect for many of the tasks at hand here.
My plan, if financially possible, is to keep it and add a larger tractor, preferrably a L5030, although I may go with a L3830 or L4330 and spend the difference on hydraulics & implements. I do have needs for which the BX is really too small, but for what it does, it does it all very well and a larger tractor would not be nearly so flexible. Most large tasks just take more time with the BX. I am getting into fencing, cattle, goats, and large areas to bush hog (rough ground) among other future plans, so I really need a larger tractor. For mowing, light loader work, backhoe, tilling, 4ft bush hog work, and getting into tight areas to do work, it is great. A large part of wanting to keep it is to not be without a backhoe. I don't use it often, but nothing like having one when you need it and I have some projects like water and electric lines that it will perfect for.
