BX25 Squealing when using 3PT hitch

Thanks for the update. I have about 43 hours on mine now and it still does it. It did one time stop making it all of a sudden and I could not make it come back. But has done it again since. Glad to hear that yours is fixed I will have to try the bypass valve. I did buy niew quick connects from the dealer to try. I will say this about my dealer. They are being good to me about it and want me to keep them informed. Thanks again for the info.

No problem, thats what these forums are all about, passing along info so it hopefully helps someone else out. Like I said I think it is the bypass valve but I may be wrong. Give it a try and let me know, I would like to know if removing it fixes the issue for someone elses BX.

I should mention though that I did not insert the valve in such a way as to try and line up the holes I mentioned above but it was a theory I came up with after, once the sound was gone. I now have 20hrs on since the valve and QC change and so far so good.

Well I pulled the relief valve today and did try to line the holes up when put back in. No luck. After mowing grass I went to raise the deck with the 3 point and it screamed as usual. Not sure what aproach Im going to take at this point. My 50hr service is soon so I will see after that. Thanks again.

Ok, well that sucks, I was really hoping that would have done it for you as well.

Did you say that you did replace the QC on the power beyond line on the back?
If not maybe give that a try as that was the only other thing I did.

Keep me posted as I am very interested in what you find. Not sure I mentioned this but before I fixed mine I noticed that when the sound was made, if I placed my hand back on the power beyond hose I could almost feel that the sound was coming from that area if that makes any sense. If you get a chance just reach back there next time and see if you can feel what i am talking about.

Also, if you did replace the QC back there was both sides of the QC replaced, male and female. I swaped both sides out.

yep replaced both male and female quick connects on the power beyond. I do notice that the noise seems to be from the valve. I can feel it in the lines to the power steering under the dash. But I feel it all eminates from the valve assembly. I does not seem to affect the machine from what I can tell. But I keep my dealer posted incase something grenades so I have good ground to stand on. thanks again.

Wish I would have read this thread before I bought my BX2360. When I raise the deck it squealing alot. My tractor on has 8 hours on it!
It's quite when the hdro fluid is cold but after awhile it's bad.
Is this hurting my tractor?

Wow, I wish I had went back far enough in these threads before I posted my question on this exact topic. So if I read it correctly, there was no real solution at the moment :<

I talked to the dealer, and before I could finish explaining it he knew exactly what I was talking about. Pressure relief valve in my case, and it comes from me having the adjustment too tight on the "raise speed", and just barelt pulling back on the raise lever. He called it feathering too much will make it squeal. I think he is right at least in my situation because it stops if I don't keep feathering it or being to "baby" with it.

Well, dont know if its a solution but since i switched the Qc and took out the relief valve it hasn't squealed. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
