Does anyone have an easy way to remove snow from equipment after use

I hope to have my shop heated for next winter. Since the building inspector coerced me into eliminating the floor drain, I plan on using a shop vac to suck up any water. I have two of them, so the old one will be dedicated to this.

The idea of a warm snowblower icing up when it goes outside to blow snow is simply not a problem. It will still blow snow without worry.

For 27 winters, my snowblower has been in the garage at the ready. My garage has been a minimum of 45° all winter long everyone of those winters, and and I have never had ice or freezing snow become a problem.

Just wondering if anyone has an inexpensive easy way to remove accumulated snow after using the tractor blower etc. my uit is in a heated garage and when it snows enough every day to use the unit(s) it melts amd makes a small lake LOL.
I've tried a windshield scraper which is somewhat OK but is time consuming and leaves a lot behind.
Also tried compressed air which works somewhat well but again is a bit time consuming.
They flat air nozzles but I'm not sure if they would work that well LINKY Another version of a nozzle LINKY 2 .

So i thought I'd ask here TIA and 🍻
I use a whisk broom on my plow. Easy to maneuver and gets most of it off easily, though slush is harder than powdery stuff. Very fast.

I also use the shop vac since I don't have a drain. I just have to be a little careful where I park so the melt doesn't get into areas I don't want it to.

Try using a wisk broom and leaf blower... works for me.

The shop vac idea should work. Just have to wait awhile for the snow to melt and remember to clean it up before the puddle does any damage.

Here's my setup, it works pretty good. 2 plastic mortar pans and a couple of wood blocks, a gutter scoop and broom that I clean as much as possible before bringing in to my heated garage. The pans catch most of the water. I just have to mop up a small puddle usually. If it's above freezing, I leave it out in the sun for a couple of hours to let it drip.View attachment IMG_0103.jpgView attachment IMG_0104.jpg

what about using a "weed burner tourch" before putting it in the garage??melt most of it off before hand, then maybe only a "small puddle"??

My thoughts as well but didn't reply for fear of getting "flamed". Here's my thoughts:
Works well on chain drive, auger, chute etc.
Not so well on hoses, wiring, plastic parts etc.
Remembering to avoid flames near fuel tank, grease nipples, bearings, etc...Just my .02
I usually knock snow off while its still wet because--once it freezes--good luck!

I connect my pressure washer to the inside tap and wash her down.
