Which One do you want to know about?
Ted wanted me to make a thread to address any questions/concerns that anyone has. I had a few PMs on here and emails from TBN members directing me to a thread that does not exist.
We take the weekends off to spend with our families and are unaware of what is going on in TBN land until Monday morning. It seems that we had a rough weekend on TBN.
I can assure you that customer service is one of the top priorities here and we always go out of our way to make sure every customer is satisfied.
This case with Brian's(the OP of the thread that was apparently discarded) box blade is no different. Ted and Rick showed me the email conversations. They were trying to gather information/pics showing his 3pt hitch set-up not only to help him with this concern, but to prevent future issues with other attachments. It didn't look like the customer ever asked for anything.
Every box blade that we make is lined up with a solid rod that goes through all 4 lift arm holes to assure they will line up when attached to a tractor. It is our intent for every customer to be totally satisfied and if he is unhappy with the boxblade, we will be glad to have the boxblade shipped back here at our expense and refund his money. Please note that we would have offered this in the emails if the customer had requested anything.

I also wanted to add that we are not perfect and do not claim to be. The small degree that the bracket was off has no effect on the functionality and performance of the attachment as long as the holes line up however we will, as always, do what it takes to assure the customer is satisfied.

Good to hear.

I haven't bought anything from you guys before but I sure appreciate your videos and certainly will consider you in the future.

he stated in his post that he did not expect you to reconcile anything, just that when he contacted you to let you know and maybe help improve the product in the future your response seemed to be like "who cares, it's your arms that are off- not the blade."

Looks like both the original thread and a follow up (concerning the first thread's removal) have been deleted.
I suggest this one be closed or deleted and we all just move on...

Thanks for starting this thread. Everybody needs time to catch up with their families and the things they get behind on during the work week. You folks have families and non-work related responsibilities just like the rest of us, and we need to try to remember that and be patient. Monday comes soon enough, too quick for me most times.

I agree with Roy, if the other two threads have been deleted then this one should be too.

We deal with a huge amount of customers throughout the country and always try to provide ourselves with the full prospective before we jump to any conclusions.
Many of our customers are new to tractors and they only asked for the pictures of his tractor lift to further help him rather than to point any blame.

I was just letting you know the way that I remember the thread, it seemed like it was unclear to you. I am in agreement with the others, this thread should disappear.

I am just glad EE had a chance to speak up. I felt they would make good and they proved that to me.

Thanks Jimmy! :D Although I think you meant "EA" it could be true you are glad I spoke up. A man can dream, can't he?

yep, disappear.
I saw the thread briefly, looked like it was one sided and going south...stopped looking at it. I didn't see a functional problem from the photos, just a cosmetic thing. Seemed much ado over nothing.

Yes. I dont know where the posts in that other thread went beyond the point i saw them, but i saw a pretty clear indication that there was a problem, either with the OP or the company. I did not detect any problem with the OP, and I havnt seen a response yet from the company that isnt dodgey unless we assume the OP was dishonest in the way he reported.

What I remember was the OP actually posted photos of the BB and had a square along the ear where the three point arms attach. It showed clearly that the ear on one side were not welded square. The OP had put some type of spacers on both sides of three point arm to square it to BB. You could also tell from photos that blade was new and paint on welds was intact. That's what I saw.

Now I'm not saying who is right or wrong here, except the Op as well as vendor have a right to ask and of course receive an answer to items purchased especially if both belong to this forum. To me that sounds reasonable, just my own humble opinion.

Yup. And thats why I dont like the discontinuity caused by wiping out the thread. A hold could have been put on it if people couldnt behave.

The OP was trying to help EA by alerting them to what he discovered; something welded out of square. He did not ask for anything or run down the product.

His problem was the responses that in essence kept blaming him for having created the problem. Such a response from a vendor would have left me less than thrilled also. Their most recent statement that "Every box blade that we make is lined up with a solid rod that goes through all 4 lift arm holes to assure they will line up when attached to a tractor" is probably true; but it doesn't mean or necessarily prevent one of the pieces from being welded out of square. The OP did not say the unit was unusable.

They could have responded in a more positive manner such as: "Thanks for pointing that out. We will look into that. If you should have any issues with the use of your implement get back to us."

How much better would he have felt with a response in that tone compared to the two he got. Maybe someone at EA was having a bad day. I have had many and said plenty I wish I wouldn't have.

Apologies go a long way! It is good to see that EA is trying to answer.

He likely would have never started the original thread. Their response was what his thread was all about.

I guess we just read more into the whole situation than we needed to. The reason for requesting more pics from the customer was Ted wanting to further assist him with future problems that could occur due to him using the add on 3pt hitch with no stabilizer bars, plain and simple. Questioning that could have offended him but it was not intended to be taken that way. I'm speculating because no one here ever saw the original post. We could have responded in a different manner such as: "Thanks for pointing that out. We will look into that. If you should have any issues with the use of your implement get back to us." like parkgt said BUT Ted was trying to be more thorough and maybe went too far with it.
Sometimes, simple is better i guess!
