I have the 2610 and mowing up a STEEP hill the engine does loose a few RPMs, but not much, you can just hear the engine note slightly change. I, however have not had the FEL loose any RPMs at 2000 RPMs with about 750-800lbs in the bucket. Have not used the BH yet, been too wet around here, still can't wait to use it:drool:! I am very impressed with the performance of the machine with a boxblade full of wet muddy gravel up a steep driveway. It will break traction before the engine loses RPMs on a gravel driveway, but what seems to work for me is to "creep" at a slightly higher RPM. I have not really experienced any "lugging" under loads I thought I would.
