Ok just to report back. I think I got it all installed ok. It wasn’t terribly difficult. I’m yet to give actually start the tractor, so I will let y’all know whether it indeed works shortly. The instructions are certainly a bit lacking, sometimes you had to defy them or else it logically could not be assembled. Both the instructions and the exploded diagrams leave out an entire (large) bolt which is supplied and clearly necessary. There’s a puzzling number of o-rings left over, but after scrutinizing the instructions for a forth time over I’m positive they’ve not been left out of anything.
Kubota’s tolerances are impressive, the whole thing only just squeezes in. The biggest concern I have is with the end of the bolt pictured which sticks out far enough to press against the fender. I didn’t notice as I was tightening the fender retention bolts that it was pulling it in against the bolt- enough to slightly bend the fender and knock off some paint.
I’m worried it might be putting a dangerous amount of pressure on the whole remote assembly…?
I guess if I remove the fender again I should be ok to just grind the end of that bolt off? I can’t see that I’ve put it on incorrectly
