Ok so an update today, not sure if anyone is following this...but here we go. So i replaced both TPS in the drive and brake pedal assembly, i verified there is a voltage increase on both from 0-5 volts as you turn the gear. I swapped the rear speed sensor from the rear to the front (since i was having the front speed sensor open circuit code) and that eliminated the 50-13 code, but didn't activate a rear speed sensor code when i swapped the bad one to the rear...now i'm left with just the 50-07 FPR no signal code but only in Park...when in forward and reverse the code dissapears, but in park it faults out again. I removed the drive position lever and used paperclips to jump the 12 volt power to each position, 12 volt to forward (no code) 12 volt to reverse (no code) 12 volt to park (50-07 code again). So i believe thats telling me the drive position lever is not the issue. Next thought would be a shorted out wire or drive controller. Any ideas? Oh also, should i be able to move the machine back and forth when in forward and reverse and experiencing no code, or since the park position experiences a code it won't move?

Thanks, Nezter

I recently bought a new 2019 Toolcat 5600 with all the options. My Bobcat branded V-Plow just came in and once I got it home I hooked it up right away. I had nothing on the angle, I checked fuses and noticed there wasn稚 one in the remote hydraulics spot. Put a fuse in and now my angling works except my left wing is controlled by the top two arrows on the joystick not the left cylinder marking on the joystick. Dealer told me it worked on their skid steer at the shop correctly but I don稚 believe that. I also had to switch electrical connectors on the plow for the right wing to open and close correctly with the joystick marking for the right cylinder. I also brought this machine home and discovered there was no engine block heater like ordered and paid for. Not to impressed with my dealer so far.

The block heater is very simple to install as it fits in a dry pocket.....no coolant exposure.

Try your angling with the thumb L/R toggle.

The block heater is a dealer or owner installed item.

Yeah I installed the block heater myself after he sent it UPS to me it was literally a 10 minute job. My left blade angles with the top left and right arrows not the left cylinder marking as I would assume it would. I believe it didn稚 work with the thumb toggle either but I壇 have to confirm that later after I get out of the deer blind.

Exactly they let a machine go out without properly making sure it was ready for the customer.

Yes, in a perfect world, the sales rep should have taken the time to make sure all of the obligations on the contract are being taken care of.

A perfect world it is not because unfortunately few people have pride in their craftsmanship, credibility at the job they do and customer service is getting worse as time goes by. It wouldn’t be bad if one thing was overlooked it seems like I have 3 issues so far and I just got to fire up the machine.

The thumb toggle also operates the right wing. So to clarify the right blade will operate with the thumb toggle or the right cylinder icon. The left blade only operates with the top arrow icons. To me this seems wrong but I知 new to a Toolcat or construction equipment but I have owned several tractors. To me the right cylinder icon should operate the right blade and the left blade should be controlled by the left cylinder icon.

For those that have not seen the joystick on the G Series, here is a picture:

Here are the pics of the fuse boxes. The remote hydraulics was missing now I have noticed a couple fuses don稚 match the rating that the book says. The frame fuse box number 10 location says 25 amp in the book but mine has a 15 amp fuse. The cab fuse box number 8 location says 30 amp in the book but mine has a 25 amp fuse. Not impressed so far with Bobcat.

I checked my 5610 unit and manual: I have a 15A in the #10 location of the frame fuse box. Yes, the manual says a 25A but the fuse location decal inside the cover (and the picture in the manual of this decal) shows a 15A should be in that location. I would keep the lower 15A there just to be on the safe side.

My manual shows a 25A in the #8 location and I do have a 25A in the fuse box. Until you have a problem blowing the 25A, I would just keep it.

Thank you ruffdog! I’m not going to change anything but when the dealer shows up to look at my machine I will definitely show him and make sure Bobcat is aware of the inaccuracies.

Any progress to report on your not moving problem?

If you push the "Lights" button on the center console, with the Toolcat turned off, the lights come on. They will eventually turn them selves off. Does anybody know how long they stay on before automatically turning off?

I haven't had the patience to sit watching/timing it myself.

I don't see a "Lights" button on the center console:

I read the manual and guess that you are asking about the "Control Panel" in the center of the dash:

But unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question.

My bad, I was thinking as I typed dashboard and was wanting to distinguish between the light switch in front of the driver by the steering column and the one in the control panel in the center of the dash. Your second picture illustrates the switch/function I am asking about.

/ If you have Toolcat questions, ask them here... #639
The switch near the column selects high / low lighting. AKA the upper or lower light set selector.

Correct, the left position as shown below is headlights. Center is front flood lights. Right is front and rear flood lights:

The light switch in the Control Panel turns on whatever is selected by the selection switch next to the steering column.
