I not only know what Big Muskie was, I had the pleasure of seeing it in operation. Sadly, the only thing left is one of its buckets. It's about an hour's drive from home in Ohio.I have to admit I would go "the other way".
Rather than abuse my equipment as in this video I would rent a larger machine to do the work. I might even get a machine some would consider overkill just to have fun with such a large machine.
For example, I think Big Muskie would be a nice safe machine to drag those logs!![]()
