Art, I was talking to a Kubota dealer up in Redding CA. and he echoed much of what you said. The new L 30 series just seems to have refined all the qualities that the L10 series had. After having had considerably more power with my
L48 and the ability to "stand on the hood", I have found between the gear range, turn radius, loader removal and an even quieter engine it to be a perfect fit. The loader on the
L3830 is very quick, I really like that. The new loader also has much greater dump/roll angles then the previous loaders available on this size tractor. While I had considered the
L4330 instead of the
L3830, I was already upgrading from the
L3130 to the
L3830. I figure the
L3830 shares most things with the
L3130 with just a little more HP, a little more 3 pt lift and a few other minor things. I also found that when purchasing my
L48 that the
L35 was not much cheaper and it's hoe and loader dwarf what the
L35 can do, especially the loader and it's bucket capacity. Rat.
