I've been quite impressed with my L3830 HST. While the loader is quite a bit smaller then my last tractor and the lift capacity quite a bit less, I am finding that having the ability to remove it so easily and replace it with little effort a huge benefit. Contrary to most folks, I have opted to not load my rears. I have found in my use, it would offer little benefit. I have been digging out a creek that runs through my place for a new culvert adjacent to my exisiting driveway. The L3830 has really performed wonderfully and while many times it looked like I was going to be buried for good, between the loader and the rear differential lock, I was able to work my way out. I have needed low for most all of the work and find it's power and speed to be very adequate. For loader work, 2000 RPM works very well. Your L3830 came with a bucket level gauge. I cut mine down so that about 6" sticks out when the bucket is level. The manual mentions this. You cut it to suit your preferences. The advantage of cutting it down is lessening the chance of bending it in brush. It's a very nice tractor and will impress you the more you use it. You may consider a toothbar down the road for the loader. I use mine considerably. It really helps with many tasks like brush removal, hauling and digging. It goes on and off very easy. Rat...

Me, CFO and the K-9 security division.

I had not seen the "barn" until the day we took delivery of the tractor. I'm impressed with the quality of the structure. It appears well designed and seems sturdier than most of the other steel buildings I looked at.
