I haven't even gotten my finance info yet but I came pretty close to your experience, today. I know my B2320 is not a sedan but I could see some value in some add'l insurance. It sounds like yours was a smart investment and I will ask about it.

Very sorry to hear about your rough start, though. I guess it is a beacon on the horizon for people like me, if that makes you feel any better1

A buddy of mine put a MF 1205 on its side a few years ago, tried to start it when he got it righted and ended up paying well over a thousand dollars for internal engine repairs. Tough lesson to learn. Glad you had the insurance.

I can't believe how lucky I was. It must be all about the exact position the cylinders and crankshaft are at when it happens. Mine would crank about a quarter turn and then go back. I then sought advice on here and removed the glow plugs and turned it through by hand. The lesson here is: NEVER ATTEMPT TO CRANK THE ENGINE WITH THE KEY IF YOUR TRACTOR HAS BEEN ON IT'S SIDE.
