New BX25?

For me, the name Kubota represents quality, but there are others whose quality is just as good. And, BTW, Kubota dealers usually sell these other brands and usually will be quite honest with you regarding whether another company's attachment will work better and is more cost effective than the Kubota version.

Amen.. it drives me crazy when a company is simply branding someone elses product. Kubota does it very little compared so some other companies.

The BX25 will have the D902-E2BX2 Kubota diesel with 23 Gross HP and 17.7 PTO HP

Maybe I am just thick in the head. All I am trying to find out here and can't get a straight answer, I get pieces of the puzzle. Now from reading this post I would say there is no differance between a BX24 and BX25. What is the differeance between a BX2660 and a BX25?
Are they both metal fender and hood?
Do they both have the new hydro?
Do they both have the same new seat?
Do they both have the same engine?
Do they both lift the loader at low RPMs?

Hope I am right on all this:

Both have metal fender and hood.

Hydro: don't know

Seat: BX2660 has a brand new tilt back seat. The original BX seat was replaced about a year ago with a more ergonomic seat that doesn't tilt; for a year we'd been calling that one the "new" seat. Now there's a "new" new seat. I don't know whether the BX25 will have that 2nd generation 1 piece seat or the 3rd generation tilt back seat that's on the BX2660. The BX25 has to have a seat that will lift and swivel for bh operation. I wonder if the tilt seat is compatible with that? If not, will there be issues with retrofitting the BX2660 seat when attaching a Woods BH6000?

Engines: Different. The BX2660 has more hp. The BX25 will have an engine with a D902 block. The D1005 block is used as the base for at least 2 different engines, one which runs at 2800 rpm max. and another that runs at 3200 rpm max. BX2660 will have the D1005 that runs at 3200 rpm. Loader lift at low rpm: apparently the BX25 does and BX2660 doesn't (I think).

Also BX2660 has 20% larger radiator than BX2230 or BX2350. Don't know how that compares/contrasts with BX24 and BX25.

BX25 comes with FEL and BH. BX2660 comes with neither, but there's an optional FEL, no BH available other than Woods BH6000. (This I'm sure about.)

I hope I got this right. You are right about it seeming like a puzzle, so much overlap and minor differences makes for confusion.

The BX2660 will lift the FEL at idle and does not have the abrupt reverse stop.

In the BX series. two numerals after the "BX" means it comes with a Kubota backhoe. .

Thanks for that piece of info, I had never looked at the BX line before, but am currently interested in one as a "riding lawnmower", however, I would love to have BH capability.

I was talking to the guy who delivered my BX 24 yesterday about the new BX 25's and the price increase. He mentioned that the 3 point hitch that is now included with the BX 24 would be an option on the new BX 25. Not sure if this is true but it may add even more cost than the price increase on the new model presented earlier in the thread.

You are correct that the 3pt linkage will be an option on the New BX25. I don't have a price on it yet.
