Ordered a 5045E

As far as I can see all the 50xxx tractors today are built on the same frame with the difference being in the injector pump and turbo charger. They put on larger tires on the up horsepower versions to allow the extra power to get transmitted to the ground but all the loaders and other attachments are interchangeable. There are some differences in rear hitch in the 5075s and up but nothing I know of around the front nose.
Well, sounds good. Just want to be sure. That was kind of my take on it too! Thanks!

The never ending saga continues!
Dealer called me today to tell me it was already to go. Loader hooked up etc. I discussed getting beat juice that I still haven't decided on and he is to get me a price on it tomorrow and also had him order a grill guard at 119.00. Cheaper than I found anywhere on the net. I proceeded to let him know I had found a hood guard on Ebay and he then proceeded to tell me that the tractor already has one on it!!! I am like, really??? It is not shown anywhere on the order form but that is how it came in. Sure hope he doesn't try to charge me 300.00 bucks for it!!

Get the beet juice for sure no matter what they charge for it. That extra weight in the rears makes all the difference in the world when pulling heavy loads and especially when using the loader. Even then when you get into the manual for the loader you will find they recommend (and for good reason) that you have a 2000 lb weight on the 3PH to counter balance the loads in the bucket when you are loading heavy wet stuff like manure or gravel. What position have you had them set the rear tires at? Wider is better for loader work.

Yes, well, guess we will see. Don't plan on doing allot of heavy stuff with the loader but you never know. I have heard once you have one you end up doing allot more than you ever thought you would. Some have said the additional weight in the rear tires is more for traction than counter balance. I use mine more for mowing crp than most anything else. Rarely use it to do some disc work with. So far, I have told them to leave the tires in as there are some tight areas including trails I like to try to keep mowed. Thanks for your help and insight!

With the tires loaded you can do most occasional light loader work without having to bother with loading the 3PH. So that is quite convenient. When you get the owners manual for the loader read the section on ballast and tire pressure. I have a lot of hills to work woods in so I have gone as wide as you can. Position h plus 4.2" spacers. If I wanted to do a lot of land plowing I would need to swap them side to side so they dish in negating the spacers so the rear would fall in the dead furrow. Other then that wide is working very well for me. If two trees ar less then eight feet apart on a trail one of them belongs in the wood pile anyway.

I strongly second the loaded tires. It's as much a safety concern as a traction concern, especially when working on any kind of hilly terrain. The cost of loading the tires is very well worth it. I think I paid $500. Ended up being a little over $8/month over the life of my loan...I guess you could look at it this way; how much will a rollover cost? Especially in life and/or limb? Just my $0.02

A standard hood guard is part of the loader package I believe.

I believe so as well. I'll have a look at my build sheet when I get home.

Will be interested to see! Thanks, I just know on a couple of my quotes they added 300.00 for it!

My quote(from 2012) shows the hood guard listed under 'standard options' for the loader, which I assume means they come with it unless you specify otherwise. Price two years ago was $236.
