Are you gonna add a sauna to it?:D

If I leave that heater on high for too long, the entire room is a sauna;)

Thanks guys, I will post more as I progress.

Wow, that's some "outhouse" - geez, the ones I've "met" in my travels are pretty shabby compared to this Taj Mahal!!

I agree it's a little over the top, but it's more of a peace offering to my bride. She loves it down on the mounain, but I'm sure here are times when she would rather not deal with the work involved and go shopping or something. Yet, she is right there by my side week in and week out. I figure she deserves to be pampered a little with her own full service restroom.

If you're going to do it, you might as well do it to the extreme!!

From some of the pictures, it looks like a pretty incredible view that you have from there. Did you put in a window to take advantage of that view?

After getting most of the wood done, it was on to tile. I put this step off as long as I could, because I had never done tile, and I was rather intimidated by it. It went well, and turned out as well as I had hoped. My boy had the idea to do the cut tiles along the front top on the tub, and it worked out good. Next, I installed the propane heater. It is a 300 sq. ft. unit, so it heats up my 65 sq.ft. area quite quickly. As for now, I am at a standstill as winter has arrived up there. I will post more photos as I make progress, but I am sure progress will be slow until next spring when I can get water to the building and install the water heater. What do y'all think?

The is actually a perfect application for a Sun-Mar composting toilet. Composting Toilets By Sun-Mar - The Environmental Solution I installed one on my farm years ago and it truly is easy to use , requires no plumbing and has absolutely no odor. My wife and I enjoy it so much that we decided to sell them.

I wish I would have! I actually had the shed at my home in SLC for a while while I installed the door and window and such. I didn't realize how nice a big picture window by the tub would be intil I transferred the shed down to the mountain. Oh well, hopefully she won't spend THAT much time in there!:D

That's a great looking out house.I am planning a 12x12 gambrel shed with a home office loft.I was planning a shower stall, toilet and vanity. The size is dictated by a concrete pad that had a utility building on it.I can rebuild on the pad,but I can't build a bigger foot print with out dealing with permits.

Those look pretty slick. I'll have to read up on them when I get time.

We can assume you'll be "reading up" in that well made reading room;)

Looks tons better than some places I've had to meet nature's calling, nice work
