I know its no fun for you keeping the sight updated but it sure is a very good source for the rest of us. Your approach to the problem and abilities to communicate make the sight very informative.

On the contrary. I enjoy updating the website and letting everyone see the fun I am having. Hopefully, it will help others make informed decisions on a tractor purchase and help me remember what I did to my tractor over time as my memory isn't the greatest /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif.

Well, I took out the tape measure today and measured the distance between the top and bottom ears of the hitch. It is 1 and 7/8" /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif This is too small to slip in a 2" tube. I'm going to look around and see if I can find some 1 and 1/2 inch or 1 and 3/4 inch tubing and shim it with 1/8 inch flat stock. If I can't find this size tubing, I might be making a smoke wrench adjustment to my hitch, as Charlie did.

A while back, I sent Power-Trac a picture of the hitch we welded on the back of their pretty machine. Those seeing the photos posted here may remember it's a little rough, but stout. More recently, I e-mailed an inquiry (to Kristie Asbury) about the grade of the shear bolt to get as a spare for the post hole digger. Today, I got a call from Terry Estep, at Power Trac, to advise about the bolt. Instead of criticising my modification in any way, he thanked me for the information, and said he has passed on the picture and my other suggestions to the people doing design and assembly. (I had to modify the seat belt retractor mount to align the belt properly, and had the wire pop off the tilt seat solenoid.)
This weekend I will be doing a bit more testing/practice with the W.R. Long 4 n 1 bucket, and will try the Lackender Hoe for the first time. I pick it up in a couple of hours. If I can induce my friend with the digital camera to stop by over the weekend, I will post some photos.

Power Trac doesn't offer a 4 in 1 bucket, but WR Long had no hesitation to weld a Power Trac adapter on to their heavy duty 60 inch bucket.

Power Trac offers a TLB, so they don't have a hoe for the 1845, which is an implement carrier with grass mowing orientation. Lackender's Extenda Hoe for skid steers need only the Power Trac quick attach.

With the bucket curl cylinder hooked to the aux PTO, it seems to have no problem getting a mouthful
