I don't mean to turn you off to alt power but the 4 or 5 people that thought my little (compared to 3RRL's) system was what they wanted
One guy wanted to run his ac unit with it. He goes to the boonies to hunt runs a generator to keep the ac on at night to sleep comfortably I told him that I didn't think that was practical unless he would learn to conserve some.
The others though of the HF systems (they are about 45 watts) would run a lot more than it could when I explain I to them what my system is and what it costs
I go the boonies to hunt but I do like a good hot shower in the am and an hour or two of tv at night that is doable on solar along with a microwave and some other lights the rest of the appliances are gas and heat is wood.
