How about this. Overweight, about 2 inches from being over-height and looks like it is tied down really nicely (not).

They should have backed it closer to the cab, blade towards back, cab spun around and and curled the arm and bucket more to get more clearance. My boss did this with the 2017 F-750 hook truck he got. Hauled either the John Deere mini excavator or the Cat 277D crawler skid steer. Granted it is like 2 times the truck this thing is.

Oh yeah, definitely. It should be loaded with the tracks closer to the cab and the boom to the back. Well, it should be loaded in a proper truck in the first place.

I would imagine that truck being perfectly legal for that exact purpose in many countries.

The center of the tracks are past the rear axle and assuming the front tire is at proper inflation it’s setting pretty heavy. The front end of that truck wouldn’t take loading it backward. I’d agree with it’s probably legal in other countries.

They could have left the bucket down on the road, behind the truck, that would have taken some of the load off.

Reminded me of this.

Yup, great big gal on a Honda dresser. She was probably upwards of 400ish lbs and middle age. Guy was probably 120lbs soaking wet and pushing 90. Thinking she was giving her grandad a ride around the block judging by the big grin on his face.

The scariest I've seen since we are on the subject. The 400lb guy that used to ride around town on a little vespa scooter. Got stuck behind him a couple times and it wasn't a pretty sight :eek: Not sure how he didn't get friction burns from the rear tire :yuck:

That visual will prevent me from getting to sleep tonight. :ill: :vomit: :ill:

Must have really wanted those old pallets......

I couldn't haul that many pallets in my Ford Ranger.
I could, if I stood them on end and stacked from front to back like Oreos. Two ropes from front to back and we're good to go.

With the topper on, I have slightly less than 42" for height.

When we used to sell hay, I was continually amazed at the number of bales people could get in a truck or on a car. It was hard to believe. They would build exterior frameworks and spend a long time stacking on top of stacks and fitting in every one possible. Never discount the ability of a determined person to get one more bale --or pallet--on board.

That is very true!!

Took a break from my ride last night and saw this on the off ramp.

I realize it's not a pic of someone hauling something poorly, but I strongly suspect that it *had been* hauled without enough thought...IMG_20180914_175301.jpeg

I saw a guy hauling a car and had the seatbelts pulled out both doors and a chain hooked to the seatbelts.
