Pressure treated looks good when it's new. You gotta keep after it or it will bow, crack and split with the best of them if left outside. After it dries a little, I'd be coating it.

One of these days I'm going to have to replace some treated fence posts I had in corners. I used a double H pattern and every one of the cross posts disintegrated and fell out. :confused:

I can get 2.5 cords of heavy oak with room to spare.

You could probably do more than that but I guess 2.5 cord is about your payload. I used to get that much on my 10’ bed dump truck.
Yep. Weight's a factor. And usually load with skid steer bucket in bulk, no stacking.

What does that trailer weigh empty? My bumper pull 14’ 16k weighs 4600 pounds. Are those 8 or 10k axels?
