Torn between two Models :(

Thank you for the input everyone. It looks like I am going to go with a different model.
The B2601. I hope. Reason being,,,
When I had first enquired on the BX25, I went through the build my tractor on the Kubota website. When I mentioned this to the sales person, he stated the site shows MSRP and we can do much better.
He took about 10% right off the Top.
On the Kubota website, I worked my way through building this 2601 with Turf Tires - FEL and BH.
Looking at the Price on the Website this am, while comparing it to the figure he worked out yesterday he is adding about $750.00 to the MSRP.
I haven't spoken with him yet today. The only thing I can think of, is he may have been discounting the BX25 with Factory incentives. As a dealership, he wasn't giving me a dime off the Price.
Don't know. I really don't want to Have to pay over MSRP on this model and not the other.

Over 8k difference in price between the two.

Indian - it depends on where you are shopping too - I found MB like their tractors very much and ended up buying from a dealer in Maine. That was a long time ago and the choices were the L3030 with BH or B21TLB and MB wouldn't deal. Anyway it is worth checking Chappell too and they have decent selection.

Then you have Mahindra (not sure of the dealer locally) then Kioti in North Hampton- the guys there are nice to deal with on implements I have found.

As far as winter time - I put a golf cart cab on my B21 and it is fine in the snow. On the options you are looking at - I recommend QA bucket, THumb for BH and R4 tires if you have a lot of rocks like most of NH!

Good luck in your search and as others have said 10-15% off MSRP is about right for either the 2601 or the BX25...

Overhead at MB must be very high, as they have a lot of inventory an 1/2 dozen large outlets and showrooms. Then also doing business in the Northeast is expensive. Chappell might beat MB, but usually by no more than $1,000.

If you are looking for a decent CAB tractor check out the Mahindra Max26Cab, or the Cab models of the 1538 and 2538. The first two are Mitsubishi units the 2538 is built by TYM with a Mahindra motor. They even make a subcompact cab model, but I think it is to small.

Fit and finish and generally good engineering and quality go to Kubota, but not by a wide margin. If you want a small 3 speed HST, you are stuck with Kubota. If you consider a small to Mid Cut, Kioti and Mahindra are worth a look.

Thanks again everyone. I ended up going with my original dealer MB. Their original quote wasn't over MSRP as I had 1st thought. The original quote on Kubota.com was for a std pin on FEL bucket. Also, I didn't notice that the B Hoe Bucket was an Accessory for the Hoe. I forgot to add the cost of the BH bucket. Anyway, with the two implement rebate, and a discount from them, I saved about 10% off MSRP. Pretty much what they originally offered right up front on a BX25.
Delivery the first part of next week.
I'm needing a Land Pride box scrapper now, and am pretty much set on the BB1560 model which MB doesn't have in stock.
They have the BB1250 for about half the money. ( They have to charge for shipping to special order the BB1560).
I googled about on the BB1250 and it may not hold up to the B2601 tractor when used for pushing.
There are a few instances online showing the Steel Flat Stock Brackets buckling when pushing heavy.
Also it weighs close to 100lbs less than the BB1560 as well.
I may try the other tractor dealers to check if they carry the LP BB1560.

Check: I am getting the % Financing.
I went on the Kubota website and checked out all of their current incentives / programs.
Aside from the % financing, The B series is eliminated from most of the incentives. Cash back, Implement discounts etc.
500 dollar rebate on B series through June 30th.

If you knew the owner of MB, you might think differently.

Both were pretty much together price wise. MB is around $200.00 more $ which is no real issue.
I'm not going to nickel and dime at this much money.
I purchased two Snow Throwers from MB in the past, along with parts for the same after the sale.
