Rest assured that many of us view a gun as a farm tool, like a shovel or an axe. We would no more wander around with a gun all the time than we would wander around carrying a shovel or an axe, though I think most of us carry a folding pocket knife, since that actually is useful sometimes.

Yeah, I haven't gone without a 2 or 3 blade pocket knife since I was 6 years old. And fortunately, I've had no need to fly on an airplace since 1986.:laughing: And I doubt that I ever will fly again.

Is there an Educated guess as to just how many Illegals there are? For you Obama followers, ""HE wants to make them all legal,""that does not sound like DEPORT to me. The Democrats are backing this whole-heartedly, do you want the Mexican flag, or other Spanish flags flying under ours?

The figure I have heard is about 20 million illegals in the USA. Obviously, you can't get rid of them all at once, and some of them you don't want to get rid of at all. A million a year, concentrating on criminals, looks like a manageable rate to me. It's certainly better than any previous presidents have done.

I don't know what right wing nut case spouted "HE wants to make them all legal," but you need to be more discerning in what BS you swallow. Realize that much of what you hear on the radio and see on Faux News is just hate propaganda designed to disrupt the American political process.

When I was younger, I 'flew' a lot. Now, with the advent of random workplace drug testing, I don't 'fly' at all......

I quit carrying a pocket knfe in my pocket. These newer pants pockets wear through too fast. In a sheath on the belt now.

I'm going to defend Roy on this. I think he acknowledged the citizenship error earlier. I am also quite sure that way more than half of our fellow citizens would have made the same mistake. I took him to task only because he was saying that another poster shouldn't express an opinion based on the citizenship thing.

Now, 5030 apparently still believes there are no democratic countries in Europe, that no European country has a constitution, and that I am FOS for disagreeing with him. I may well be FOS but not on that particular post.

My main point is Roy's arrogance that he thinks he can talk that way to some one who merely offered a good faith comment on this thread.

Roy probably does need you to take up for him since he really is just FOS himself and pretty full of himself.

I guess Roy thinks he is appointed to determine who can and cannot post comments in TBN based on his agreement with them or not. If he has ever expressed an original thought I would be surprised.

Candidly, I don't know what I believe lately, other than Obama will get a second term. I just relayed my conversation with a German citizen, visiting on vacation, riding a motorcycle prior to heading to Rock Island for a JD engineering seminar. Not verbatim mind you, in my own words so I probably jilted it a bit. Nice guy. Too bad he was riding a Beemer.
