WOW!!! (y)
I’m out there all the time. Where is the RR? Hancock area?
It's about 30 minutes west of Hancock in Cumberland. The 1309 runs from there up to Frostburg, MD. several times per week. A great place to see it is at the station in Cumberland.

Here's a link to the schedule:

I drive thru Cumberland a lot, and have never seen it either.

And if you’re there, Puccini ( just east of Cumberland)has a really good wood fired pizza. We get one about every time thru.

Wonder what is gonna be hooked to the 'head end'? Certainly not a rail speeder. I don't believe they have the 'cajonies' to pull that. Maybe a Hi Rail truck?
The individual carts mostly coast since it's a downhill grade. They also have pedals. The "tender" at the rear can push if necessary.

But what goes downhill has to go up at the bottom...lol Didn't look at the pictures close enough to see any pedals honestly.

Once at the bottom, the riders get off. All the carts then hook together and the black & red "tender" in pic #1 pulls them back uphill.

Looks like fun, BUT I don’t know about you, but it looks to me like a lot could go wrong with that set up.…
I agree. Lots of possible injuries from dangling feet.

Location. Location. Location.

I slowed the video down to 25% normal speed, and on the first train, the two trailing SD70ACe units both had "UNDER WARRANTY" stenciled on the cabs under the unit numbers, so the must be fairly new. The lead AC44C6M unit didn't.
Also, did you notice he blew the stop sign?

Didn't notice the traffic infraction. :)
