I suppose it's ironic that I see to have killed the thread, since I started it. I'm sure there's a few more folks out there with trucks to show off.

How long is your dump trailer? looks like at least 12 ft, I have a 10 ft dumper 10,000# gvw, should have gotten the 12ft or bigger, can't fit my 4310 with back hoe, now I'm looking for an equipment trailer 16-18 ft, 10k gvw. been looking for a used one for over a year and the new ones keep going up every time I price them. If this thread is still alive when I finally get one I'll surely post a pic, this is what I got now

Mine is 12' long, I can tell you one thing the dump/equipment trailer idea works to a point. I can't fit the tractor with bh in the trailer. I'm about 4' short. But my real gripe is you can't position the machine properly for correct tounge weight. It's also a PITA to get it tied down with the bed walls in the way. I turn myself into a contortionist to get to the chain and binders. But for hauling materials the dump is awesome. I'm actually looking at a 22' tilt bed trailer for my hauling needs. It will also have hydralic dump. This way I can take all the needed implements with me and still have room for properly weighting the tounge.

I saw your pics with the machine in the trailer, but now I see the doors were still open, I know what you mean about the weight distribution problem, is yours 10 or 12 K gvw.
As far as dumping these things are great, they legally haul more than a 1 ton masons dump, still should have gotten the 12 FT with the twin pistons though, mine is a big single piston, once out of 30 dumps it wouldn't lift the load which was 3 ft over the sides just shifted some of the weight to the rear and it dumped, with the twins it would dump 2 X's the gvw probably.
those tilt trailers are sweet no more ramps to deal with but for my needs I could handle the ramps for the little use that I require.

Streamin,
To upload pics they usually need to be resized. They need to be under 100k size or they won't upload. Once resized, then you should be able to click on upload in your post reply and it should show up as an attachment. Then click submit.

Mine is a 10k also, I've had over 10k of stone in it and it was flawless. However I don't think I'll overload it again. The tilt I want is a deckover. I may get a JD 110 eventually and the tilt would be the ticket for sure. I have the big single piston as well. But I can't seem to overpower it. It will dump anything you throw in it.

My first truck I did any towing with was a 97 Chevy 1500 with a 5.7L v8. It did fine for what I did. Now I have a Dodge 1500 Quadcab with a 4.7L V8. It has the same specs as the Chevy Motor. I hope it will do fine When I get to tow something more than my 5X10 trailer which it does fine with. I also had to step up to the Quadcab because we are expecting our first child. Here are a few Pics.
