How does she like it? In the market for my girlfriend and she is leaning towards S&W .38 revolver instead of 380. She likes simplicity of revolver.

Back to regular schedule program of making hay....

Great little gun not to short,no kick, fits her great. She got her mothers day gift a day early since we dont have the boys,so we shooting it up. bersa 380.jpg

6/10th on the leona pasture and 1.7in.on the hay meadow at house...
I offered 2grand waiting to hear back on square baler.I know it hasnt been used hardly any, just been setting.Wish it had been in barn but square bales are going for atleast $5/6 bucks easy.
I bought my wife a Bersa 380 pistol we been outside shooting, she doesnt like to shoot my 45:confused3:

Thats a nice rain fall ... now let the grass grow. I'm getting $8 for my squares and am not having a problem selling them ... I have orders for the "upcoming" first cut of Bermuda at $10

My 4x5.5 rounds are selling out of the barn at $65 ... The only cheap hay I've seen has been some $4 squares on CL and the seller out right states it has weeds and would be good for goats.

I think your wife will enjoy the Bersa.

Will it be better to leave the loader on or take it off cutting, raking baling? I was thinking about running the baler hyd.off my loader control, just figured it would be better than using the small lever for aux.remotes, easier to get ahold of. I have never takin my loader off but I would like to not have it in my way,or listen to it bounce up and down it gets kinda rough out there.

Thats a matter of personal preference ... I sometimes take it off and other times I don't ... I've never run a baler on anything other than the rear remotes ... I have at times had the hay spike on as well and if a round bale is in the way on the ends I just stick it and move it.

I've never taken my loader off. But my pastures are pretty bumpy, and if go too fast the first thing to bang & clang is the loader arms...so it keeps me under the "speed limit".

Thanks guys,I will probaly just leave it on,I am more worried about getting it back on after I get it off,it is suppost to be simple but nothing ever goes simple for me:D I went and walked around the meadow by the house and alot of the coastal didnt come back after last years drought, same goes for the bahia, looks like next year will be sprigging or running a no-till. The coastal is looking great, gonna say 3/4weeks and will be laying it down. I have also been looking for another bull, starting another herd up,leaning towards another Angus but wife wonts a Charolais since running cple reg.heifers but the other 10 are angus cross heifers.

Well it looks like im the new owner of the square baler, going to pick it up sunday. Cutting my shaft down today after work, on the cutter(chop saw),and turning the bracket around to see if that fixes the issue and then watch the grass grow. Going saturday to look at 21bulls and pick one that will suit the new herd. Life is Great!!!! Ya'll have a wonderful rest of week...

We raise Charolais also and they are nice looking animals. Do you plan on registering you Charolais? We had twins earlier in the year and both are fine. I've heard one of the calves will have issues when having twins but nothing so far (knock on wood).

Yes sir life is great. It will be hard to pick one bull out of 21 !! Did your dealer ever say anything about that bracket?

I did 340 square bales and 23 round bales yesterday ... today I start in on 100 acres of bottom land ... a little note which I'm sure you already know. Keep that equipment serviced every evening when your done ... it makes things so much easier to start the next morning fresh.

Watch the radiator on the tractor and keep it blowed out ... dust builds up fast.... look at me talking to you like a kid!!!!

Yeah I plan on registering them. The guy I help sometimes who I get the calves from has only had one set of twins this past year, and they done good.He runs 30 registered charolais so I hope he can talk me threw the process on getting them registered..

I went ahead and got the bracket switched around, just done it and it works great now. I also cut the shaft down, lets just say had to cut it twice, got it cleaned up the first time and it turned out an inch to short(figures) but it turned out great also. Any info. or suggestion is always helpful,Blueriver...

Im taking my father with me to help pick out a bull seams like everytime we are watching a bull sell on t.v I never get it right I always say that looks like a good bull and it sells for 2,000 and when he says no thats a good bull it goes for 8,000 so I guess my eyes are not that good, lol. The guy that helps me coach baseball is going with us and getting one also so maybe we can get a deal if we get two.
