My Weekend Tow Story

No place did I state anything about turning off the brake lights and hitting the brakes. The brake lights off switch was used when slowing down when your bird dog went off. the cop couldn't see you where braking hard. a momentary button that would flash the brake lights when you weren't applying them could be installed also. No matter the speed a 4 wheeler can stop faster than a 80,000 truck. and no driver ever wants to hit his brakes hard enough to lock up the wheels. all that gets you is flat spotted tires. I always downshifted several times before stopping. usually only used the brakes when down on the low side of the trans.

There's no possible justification for throwing BBs, or anything else, out the window and 'hoping' the 'right' vehicle gets hit. Even if such a 'homing' device, that 'guided' the BB to the correct vehicle, it's a dangerous and ineffective method for correcting inconsiderate behavior.

I have compassion for those who tailgate, drive with their long lights on and fail to signal. It must be very painful for them to live their lives in such a rush and without regard for others.

I didn't say they weren't idiots. But it doesn't give anyone the right to throw a handful of BB's out the window, turn off their brake lights and then hit the brakes, etc... it's just plain stupid behavior.

I thought BB's was being compassionate. It could have been marbles or roofing nails.

You'll soon learn there are those around here who take everything literally. Bless their heart! :D
