I have the L3560, which is the new model if my understanding is correct. I have had mine since May of this year and love everything I can get accomplished with it.

My pick would be the bigger tractor, but ultimately, it is what makes you happy.

Jump on that L3240 ,great tractor and no emissions.Very low hours for the year.I have a "40" series with 1200+ hours.

I regularly scan TractorHouse for under 40HP tractors. Most of the time, there seems to be a dis proportionally high number of Sub Compact Utility Tractors to Compact Utility Tractors. My guess is that they were traded in for a larger tractor. Owners seldom wish they had purchased a smaller tractor.

"A Ratchet Rake bucket attachment is ideal for leveling Blackberries."

Or get a a BXpanded Piranha tooth bar- same price and much heavier duty with no flimsy strapping system

Just rip them out and them mulch them with the brush hog

There is nothing flimsy about the Ratchet Rake straps. A 3/8" steel cable attaches to the rake, then goes under the bucket. On the other side of the bucket, the strap connects to the steel cable on one end and the rake on the other end with heavy steel hooks.

In six years of regular use I have broken one steel cable, which RR, LLC replaced merely for the price of shipping.

The strap tightening mechs do need occasional replacement. The mech eventually gets jammed with dust. I buy replacement tightening mechs at TSC rather than fool with dust removal. I am still using original nylon straps after six years.

Few would dig Himalayan Blackberries, which are rampant spreaders via roots.

A ratchet rake and a tooth bar are 2 different tools with different usages. I hsve both.
