The Cort backs out into the lake from the BN ore dock in Superior WI.
I have a pair (KC Daylighters) on my pickup truck. Guaranteed eyeball cookers. 5.5 amps each.Great video.
I could use those spotlights on my Suburban.![]()
My Daylighters might be more, I took a stab at the power consumption. They get real hot too. They have to have their own power source and a relay. They'd melt an ordinary switch. When I was a kid, I worked at an airport. A co-worker and I installed some aircraft landing lights behind the grill of my Nova. As I recall, they pulled around 20 amps each. You could feel the heat from about 5' away. I couldn't leave them on too long as:
1. they'd drain the battery
2. they'd melt the grill
That would be a good idea!Maybe you guys could start a new thread?![]()
We're talking about the spotlights on that boat, in general.Maybe you guys could start a new thread?![]()
Its pretty chilly to be on the waterfront this time of the year. Not too many onlookers out there to see her arrive.
About 2:30 you can see the American flag snapping straight out. Imagine the tonnage of wind pressure on the side of that entire ship. Wow.The Joe Block pulling up to the dock in Two Harbor in Gale winds. Who needs thrusters? The Block is reputed to be the most maneuverable boat on the lakes and build to get up the rivers.
