I have a similar height building but 40x81. I have 4 doors on the long side and 1 on an end. Also two house size entry doors. Makes it easier to get things in and out for me.

The drywall covered a light switch on a remodel I had done about 35 years ago. It was the old popcorn/glitter . I was able to find it and cut out the needed area without having the contractor back. Did not even have a stud finder then.

I have such a system for my 1/2 ton pick up. It works well IF the load is not too heavy. If I put in too much gravel I then have to still shovel of enough until it is light enough to crank. Lighter/ less material and it works quite well.

I have had that happen on my Mahindra. You will find the replacement glass is not cheap. A company does make a "lexan" type cover shield that is said to protect the glass but also not cheap.

I had to use it over the weekend as he needed it back by Monday. I did 7 hours on a Sat and 1 hour on a Sunday. He delivered it and then picked it up but lives within several miles and I have had him do almost $60,000 of excavating, grass waterways etc. in the last 2.5 years.

Had to replace the seal on my 4510 maybe 10 years ago. Made a tool as I recall to help retract the old seal and I think some kind of collar to press the new one back in, similar to 3 gunr. This is all from memory.

The newer ones, the old ones around here were triple brick thick.

I typed that in wrong. I got a deal on 4 inch PVC so bought it, the electric company only requires 3 inch but the 4 was cheap and available so I bought that.

I am trying to drain the area above the electric line, just have easy access to do it when they trench for the electric. Did not want to do a separate dig in the same area.

The farm tile would be above all of the others. Maybe only 2 feet deep to also help in drainage of the area, not just the electric line.

I recently had two acres done with about that much snow on the ground. Wished the ground was bare but needed the frozen ground also to be able to do that area properly. Only problem a few large rock tops were covered and hit that could have been avoided perhaps.

If you want to do the work I hope you get it but I found at times the best jobs I had were the ones I did not get.

If it was in an ag area there is money available for grass waterways/tile etc. It pays about 90% of the costs in our area. That could help you both out.

Some of the logs were too heavy and long for the 2 horse teams and with a 4 team it was narrow in places. Also the horses got tired as it was hilly and I was able to help out and gave them some rest.

I caused the ruts helping drag out the logs where the horses could not. The repairs will be on me.

Whether this is correct I do not know but an old tractor mechanic said if you put the tractor in the highest gears and then push against a strong tree if the tractor stalls the clutch is not slipping, if it just motors on then there is slippage. Only saying what I heard.

I got one at a low price as the owner was told it had a bad engine. Got it cheap enough that it still would have been a good buy with a replacement engine. As it turned out it was just an intake manifold gasket leak. Simple and cheap fix.

You are fortunate. My cost overhead is $11,500 plus the last 250 feet is underground in 4 inch PVC three feet deep. The underground is at my cost also.

Is the proper grade shear bolt being used. Neither too soft nor too hard of a bolt is good.

All fluids, filters etc. were changed just last year. Not many hours ago. Fluid supplied by the New Holland dealer for the tractor. The shear pin is not broken, I took it out to check. The nut holding the bush hog blades on still has the retaining cotter key intact.

Got the issue fixed, someone had put in a bare aluminum wire on the connector so it would not stop when one got off the seat but it became disconnected. Corrected that.

I just had 57s added to top dress 1200 feet of lane. They did a nice job of dropping it down. Around $2800 with tax, nearly 2 inches deep over the old.

Got the seat issue fixed so I can now operate it but still the mowing problems. It will mow the previously mowed low grass, not the tall stuff. We will get it done what absolutely needs to be done and await my tractor/mower when the O ring gets in.

I know of a number of people that got it and died including two close family members.

The tractor has about 1850 hours on it, I would guess it is 20 years old or so. Never heavily used by me (us) but lent out and the guy abused it badly but i did not think he did any PTO work but bent the bucket and did other damage that was repaired.

I will but I am pretty sure I had it full a week or so ago.

The grass was dry. The tractor RPMs do not drop but the blade and the PTO shaft both slow and nearly stop. The New Holland does not have a foot clutch on the hydro trans. Will try to check more in the future. Thanks
