    If you were local, I wouldn’t mind giving you a hand! As long as the tractor is adequately supported with HD jack stands and you use temporary longer bolts to only drop the axle a few inches, it should go smoothly.

    It’s technique, I grip up high and pivot the tree at the root ball to loosen it from the ground while pulling up. Once it’s loose enough, I slide the puller down and finish pulling it out.

    Drop all implements and your sight glass should read halfway. Raising implements takes more fluids in the cylinders and thus, you’ll get a lower reading. Perfectly normal.

I had two and I dug a hole to allow surface water at one corner of my house a place to go, away from the house and into these tanks that has holes at the bottom and the hole back filled with gravel up to 1 feet below the surface before fabric separates from the topsoil.
