I am in the process of adding a 120 watt LED Lightbar to the front of my LS. I was thinking of adding an inline fuse to the wiring at the light itself to hopefully double protect the usually woefully undersized factory wiring. Dumb idea? A 10 amp fuse should handle the 120 watts.

Greetings oosik! Our snow falls have doubled the past 3 years and the low temps have moderated. Rare to drop below -30 for more than a day or so now. I long for some -65F for an extended period to get rid of the rif raf!

oosik, Sleds today come with hand warmers, thumb warmers, butt warmers and a power port to plug in your helmets face shield to keep it thawed and fog free.

My biggest problem with the tractor step is its width. Being old,fat and arthritic means I need both feet on that step before stepping in the cab. Heavy boots don't help either.

We've never been coffee snobs/ connesurier's but we enjoy our coffee immensely. Kirkland Colombian Dark Roast fine grind coffee made in a Mr Coffee. Immediately after brewing, it goes in to the Stanley Thermos. Stays piping hot with no additional electrical expense (or bitterness from reheating).

There is a lot of difference between a Tractor and a Gate. It's his money and he's the one that has to look at it. His choice as what to do. Those ugly welds do distract and make the whole job look inferior.

Even tho they look terrible, those gates could outlive us all.

They look like crap. My welds look like that too. Even with fancy auto darkening helmets and light blocking cloth drapes on the back of the helmet, I just can't see well. My goose-poop welds seem to hold okay though.

My 2 failed batteries were fully charged when I started using my new Makita sub- compacts and weren't used, checked or charged for about 4 years. These failures were totally my fault for not paying attention.

I've used Dewalt, Porter Cable, Panasonic and a few No Name brands. I settled on Makita 18 volt LXT. I love the weight, balance and power of these and use them almost daily. Wife and In-Laws started buying me Worx brand cordless tools for Christmas and they have been indestructible also.

I am a labor saver. I'd rather a Tool do the work.

My "Go To" cordless tools are the Makita 18 volt XLT series. Compact and Sub Compact impact drivers and drills. I still use 1/2" Air Cat pneumatic for the tough stuff.
