855 Should I buy it ?

Hi guys
I am still looking for another 855 or similar compact , non sub compact and it's been a long search.Not many compacts available most are scut . Anyhow I found a 1994 one owner 855 with less then 350 hours, maintenance records and original paperwork. Tractor is clean as in as new clean. I can drag it home for $10,500 any thoughts on that price

What I look for in addition to the machine itself, is the neighborhood.
Very upscale!
With 350 hours, that machine has clearly been meticulously cared for.
You might look for years to find one comparable.

The 855 is a good tractor and most parts should still be available. However, things like Power Beyond kits and similiar such items aren't available anymore. Might be tough to find a front snow blower too, since that was a Deere proprietory implement
However, it's a standard Category 1 3PH, so any aftermarket implements for a Cat 1 will fit.

Price might be a bit high, but good CUTs go fast...

Looks to be in good shape, they don't bring that kind of money around here no matter what condition they are in, that tractor here would bring $8500..

That's true...prices in the southern US are normally less then in the northern states.
I'd carry the $10K, offer $8.5K and see how the seller responds
