Bo, Looking good. And you got rid of the outlet over the stove :D JK... Yes, the pace slows dramatically with finish work. I've been working on my interior for a year now since drywall was finished. I'm still doing finish work on cabinets that are yet to be installed... Day by day, one step at a time...

I stopped at the County permit office today to drop off my final revision (took the future bathroom walls back out), and the head inspector told me she will be doing the Final and that I have to get rid of my two 40' containers or she will fail me. Stupid code here says you are only allowed to have one 20 footer.<br />

I thought this was America. Somehow I moved to some other country. 😩

Right, but I would rather take heat over containers than over constructitrivia.

It's good to know they are working with you. I don't know how you do it.

Bo, maybe you can move the containers to a friend's property until the "final" inspection is complete then move them back. Do everything to get the final then make the interior changes that you want. Stanley

That's what I was thinking.

I never imagined the stuff you had to put up with, would happen in Arizona. must be a zoning issue, can't imagine containers would be a code issue. Containers shouldn't have anything to do with your building final. I would be livid.

A friend of mine came up with an idea. Stand them on end and bolt them together. Then you have one 8 X 16, that just happens to be 40' tall.

Well, I said he had an idea, I didn't say it was a good one.
