I have a BX24 and I would rather have the second seat for the BH. Changing the seat position is a pain. I have to get up either way so a second seat would be my preference.

Call me lazy, but I feel the same way. I would rather have 2 seats. I also like when I flip the seat around and you find out it didn't lock in after you sit down.

IMO, I much prefer the single seat because it shortens the tractor making it balance better. I don't mind the reposition, but I'm often not doing it over and over again.

Interesting to see the different opinions on the single vs dual seat arrangement for BH operation. Since I haven't used mine yet, I can't comment, but I have a few of those boat seat cushions from when I owned a boat and I might try just lipping up the BX25 seat and using the cushions to see how that works. Can you reposition the BX25 for BH work with the seat reversed, like with a stick or board to push the go pedal? Not sure how the seat safety switch is hooked up.

I don't turn my seat most of the time any more unless I'm doing a timely job. I just sit on my knees using BH. I will turn it if I'm going to be doing alot from one spot but that's usually not the way I use mine. BX25
