Think about how you are going to use the rear remotes.FRAN3 said:Also, my dealer suggested mounting the Rear Remote Valve on the FEL Valve Mount rather than the ROPS and I assume the Fender, any thoughts here?
No, it doesn't disable the 3pt hitch. Here's why: the hydraulic flow on the tractor is continuous. When you operate a valve, it closes the circuit (more or less, it depends how hard you push the spool) and use the flow and the pressure to push on one side of the cylinder's piston. When the valve returns at its neutral position, the circuit is reopened, so the flow pass through the valve and continue its way into the circuit.Renob said:Stef,
When you utilized the backhoe ports for the valve on your BX23 did it disable the 3pt hitch operation as MadRef suggests?
Is it a setup like this one? First pic, the valve is mounted on the rops. Second pic, the valve is removed (2 bolts on the rops and two hoses with quick couplers).MessickFarmEqu said:We worked up our own valve kit for the BX24. Its a valve body, lever, bracket with two couplers for the connection, and plumbing that hooks into the backhoe loop. It takes about 10 minutes to install once its all built. Right now I have an assembled kit ready to go, we put it together on a guys tractor and he backed out. Its not cheap, we're looking at $650 for the parts and labor to build all the hoses -- but this is a brainless, easy way to get a rear remote on a BX24.
