Thanks. That's the same crap that happened with Titan (now Ironcraft).I made the same mistake when I was trying to find information on this grapple. That website is for Carolina Attachments. The grapple that I purchased is Carolina Implements which doesn’t appear to have a website. I was told that they are dealer direct only.
Different company. The one you looked at is Carolina attachments. The one the OP bought is Carolina Implements.The Carolina website says they use A36 steel.
I'm not educated enough to know how much difference between that and AR400.

I like those too.That looks very nice. I like their take on putting the little wedge feet at the bottom back so it will stand itself up easier. Nice touch.
isn't that part of EA's "engineered" approach, putting the scraper on the inside of the lid?I like those too.
However, I wish each tooth had them so they could be used for raking backwards.
By having the teeth at the back of the grapple the bucket tilt cylinders would be closed/retracted and in their strongest position.
Thus keeping one from bending the cylinder shafts.
