Cowboy doc, do you, or any one else, know of a site that has range field fence design info. I need to fence 40 acres to contain sheep and cattle. This will be an all metal fence, wire and posts. Trying to find web info on height, wire type and spacing. Thanks in advance for the help.

Do you have the worksaver 20 w\ hydraulic tilt? How do you like it? I have to put up about 6000' of fence and trying to decide if I am going to do it and buy a post pounder or contract it out. I like the worksaver 20 hydraulic tilt, I got a price of $3850 is that a good price? Does it drive PVC posts? Is it easy to use? Thanks Polaris

Polaris,
It's very easy to use. I'm not sure about the pvc posts though I've never tryed to pound them. Your price is higher than what I paid for mine though. If you do it yourself you sure won't regret getting it. It's a little difficult to setup but not bad. The one thing you will want to do is get it so you can use your three point hitch though.

then use the FEL to push a 6 or 8 inch post into it.

I assume you're referring to round posts, correct? Was the ground particularly soft?

I'd like to use 4" x 6" posts and wonder if I could use the same technique.
