More importantly, has anybody noticed if the line has been expanded to any more stores?

I guess it all comes down to semantics ... since TYM is the actual manufacturer, it depends on how you look at it if you call it "custom" or "re-branded". Either way, RK is not selling a tractor they make - they are having it built by a maker who also sells their own brand under their own name.
I've posted these pictures of the sticker behind the dashboard and shop manual cover for my tractor in the past...

Yes, it's "badge engineering" (like GM, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Deere, New Holland, Massey, IH, and many brands do).

Sad and distressed to confirm: a contact from RK has informed me that "Brian is no longer with the company..."
Unlike other brands, we were blessed to have an "official voice of authority" about RK Tractors which cut through the negativity from competitors, flamers, naysayers, etc. on the RK Tractor Forums. I hope that someone from RK has the courage to pick up the gauntlet, withstand the *likely* pessimistic onslaught, and carry on supporting current/future RK Tractor owners on the TBN forums...TBN is a passionate but tough audience...

Don't for a second think TBN is responsible for the absence of Doug or Brian. Not for one second. If you truly think that then I am offended. You may want to look inward at RK as a company.

I have been watching the stores in my area and none of them have picked up the line.

Never EVER want/intend to offend anyone on TBN...these forums are too valuable to me...edited the comment as an "amends"...
I only meant that those of us on TBN tell it like we see it and that the RK successor (if one steps up) has much to prove...

Maybe somebody could pester The Morgans?

I saw one of his videos and he had a Timberwolf splitter and a conveyor and a dump trailer. A high dollar outfit. Does anyone know if he bought them or got them sent to him?

I would strongly suspect "sent to him", as the RK tractors also are.

Almost every item a “retailer” or reseller is selling is made by someone else.

The splitter is a Wolfe Ridge. It was originally loaned to Mike to showcase on his channel. Once the owner started getting tons of orders from the publicity, he gifted the splitter to Mike permanently. Win win. Mike gets a splitter in exchange for doing some advertising, and a local small business gets sales and grows larger.

The conveyor is also a Wolfe Ridge. Mike paid outright for that.

The dump trailer was also purchased outright.

Everytime I see there's been a new post on this thread I find myself hoping it's Brian or his replacement.

I gotta get this fantasy out of my head.

Sorry to disappoint.

Sorry to disappoint.

It is disappointing though.

All the hype. High dollar advertising and promoting.

Has nothing to do with the quality of the product. Was totally unnecessary. Now leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth. Very disappointing.

Me too!
I can't imagine why RK senior management does not put more effort into supporting their most expensive (flagship?) RK named product.

I offered to be their rep on TBN ... never heard anything back :confused3:

I tend to agree with Moss about this. A forum isn't the place to base customer support from. It is actually beginning to appear that RK feels the same way.

Going back to Brian's first post here, he clearly stated that no one at RK even knew he was on here.

With all that said, RK would be better served to abandon the concept of a rep on TBN than to have ones that disappear.

I’m lost. Who the heck is Mike?

The Morgans have a YouTube channel where they extoll the virtues of RK Tractors

My comment in post # 94 was a question about why RK does not put more effort into supporting their RK tractor (flagship?) product.
Nothing specific about why RK does not want to contribute to product support on TBN.
It seems that they just may not comprehend how VERY important dealer support is to nearly all new tractor buyers.
