The MUTS are specifically designed to be
all terrain trailers with a low center-of-gravity and all terrain, low-pressure tires. I have shopped Pronovost and they are excellent but designed for heavier hauling on relatively flat/smooth ground. I would never load my MUTS with gravel, for instance. The bulbous, low-pressure tires would not take the weight of gravel. Nor would the manual boat winch lift the trailer bed. But dirt is fine.
I am 74 years old. A (single axle) MUTS is easy to move around by hand, separate from a vehicle, when empty. I store my MUTS in my garage, in line with the RTV500.
Pronovost vs MUTS depends on the OP's needs and his budget. No question the Pronovost is heavier duty/heavier price.
