KML,
I appreciate your efforts but as stated earlier, I have zero mechanical skills and am computer illiterate. Why would I install a couple of barbell looking things on my tractor anyway ???

Maybe you could ask one of the enlisted guys at work to give you a hand:p

Now what will I do, I voided my warranty. Come to think of it, that's probably not the first thing I did to void it, but some of the pictures on here do confirm that I really baby this thing.;)

KML,
Why didn't you just call them spacers like the dealerships do. As soon as I showed them your picture they said these were spacers. I get it now. You unscrew the lugnuts from the wheel and insert the spacers and bolts. Then you screw on the original nuts to the added rim. I could still do this. Thanks.

Sergeant's philosophy -
The Company Commander and the First Sergeant were in the field. As they hit the sack for the night, the First Sergeant said, "Sir, look up into the sky and tell me what you see?"

The CO said, "I see millions of stars."

1st Sgt.: "And what does that tell you, sir?"

CO: "Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.

Theologically, it tells me that God is great and that we are small and insignificant.

Meteorologically, it tells me that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. What does it tell you First Sergeant?"

1st Sgt.: "Well sir, it tells me that somebody stole our tent." ;)

Danno1,
Funny you should mention that. That's the first thig the chrome shop mafia guys suggested. As good as it looks, I opted for aluminum. They are also going to powder coat paint it in Kubota orange for a total of $80. A lot cheaper than the sombrerro looking canopy from the dealer for $486. I can't wait... Jeeez, I thught this thread died a long time ago.

In reading your posts..I remember why at 21 I saved and pinched pennies in college...So I could have the peace of a engine hum @ 2000 RPMS and wonder around my 15 ac digging, cutting and doing what I please.

Thanks for your service, and the humor of your thread - "Why would I want to attach dumbells to my tractor".

SouthernConservative,
Yes, KML set me straight with the "barbell looking things" and the "ask one of the enlisted guys to help me out." Just didn't make the connection right away that the link was a picture of spacers. I share in the belief of your tagline "a country boy can survive." The city slickers in this world would be helpless in a time of crisis/droubt/famin. I really do own a shotgun, a rifle and a four wheel drive cause a country boy can survive ! Central Texas eigh ? How far are you from the FT Hood/Austin area ? I got a lot of years at FT Hood, home of the 1st Cavalry Division.

Milkman,
What can I say. I have fallen in love with your rear dually tires and must now get a set of my own. That aggressive look is impressive and would scare any project into submission. I am calling the dealership today. How much did it cost you ?

MissouriThunder
If i can't do it with 4 wheels it don't need done.
Duals put a lot more strain on axles and bearings which may lead to early failure..

LBrown59,
Wow ! You have an entire fleet of compact tractors.
That is so cool.
With every kind of attachment known to man to boot. I've got to go back and rethink the whole attachment issue.
1*Can you imagine the number of projects one could do with all these ? MissouriThunder
1*Here is a partal list of what I can do with out changing or adding an attachment. .
1] Back hoe task.
2] FEL work .
3] Mowing with a 48'' and a 60 '' MMM at the same time.
With my wifes help of course.
4] Using a front blade.
5] Tilling.
6] Towing with a chain.
Other task I can do by simply and easly adding an attachment .

7]Towing a drag.

8]Using quick and easy lite duty forks.
9]I also have a set of clamp on forks for the heavier work.

10]Towing trailer with new BX1500.

11]Unloading the trailer with used BX1500.

12]BH Scraper blade

13]Tote tray on new BX1500.

My first fuel station

Absolutely love the photos you posted. How many projects have you completed with "the bota fleet?" Just curious as to how much you gave for the spring loaded snow blade. I've been seriously looking to buy one.
