I’m pretty sure that most of the people that hate the Kubota pedal are using it wrong. Personally I think the Deere pedal is more unnatural to use. I do like the Kubota Grand pedal better than the long lever economy series one. And like someone already said one is mechanical linkage and the other is electric. They’re not interchangeable.

I prefer JDs two pedals side by side. Similar to the movement required to do gas pedal, brake pedal.

Thanks for all you responses.
We are coming from a 2 Pedal System, and so far was just sitting on the Tractor. Test drive was not possible, since it was customer Unit in the Shop.
Finding stuff in stock is pretty challenging at this time (at least in our Area).
Thanks for the Pic, will try it.
At the end it is getting use to, just had to ask.

I have the MX5400 and I got used to the pedal very quickly. I only have 21 hrs on it and I no longer think about the pedal.
I would not let the pedal keep me from buying that tractor.

Every one of my 4 tractors operates differently and I do not have trouble switching between them. In my opinion there is way too much gnashing of teeth over the pedal. That said, one would think the brands would offer left/right and front/rear pedals as options. Can't be that hard.

Such would not be difficult but would add cost giving a cost advantage to manufacturers who do not invest in such.

 me too.
Kinda like decision making by the number of cup holders in a mini van !

Friend of mine bought a mini van years ago. Bragged about how many cup holders it had. That might have actually been the clincher. :D

Nobody buys a Kubota for the cup holder. I have no idea what size cup it is supposed to fit. I do know it doesn’t work with any standard size cup or bottle.

And on my M9540 you have to dislocate your shoulder and elbow to reach it.....
