ToolManRick,
I happened to be wondering about some of this yesterday as well. I mow my ditches with a Shenniu 254 w/rear finish mower and although I never felt concern for a rollover I wondered how much slope I had. I set one of the magnetic angle finders like you see in a workshop on the dash to find out. Most of my ditches are 15-20 degrees with a couple spots nearly 25 degrees. Recently I've began using a side arm mower that I built to mow when the ditches are too wet to drive through. I'm not sure what this weighs but its a 8hp motor and a 28" deck hanging on an arm about 6' beyond the rear tire. With this on the tractor I have felt it get a little light on the high side rear tire a couple of times. Because of this I would have no concern on "good" ground crossing 20 degree slopes with the tractor and a "normal" rear implement. Of course in over 30 years of messing with tractors I've had a couple of situations that I would not wish upon my worst enemy and have been lucky enough to live to tell about them. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Hopefully with age comes some degree of wisdom and caution. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
