What's the best way to store a post hole auger if you don't have an equipment shed? I have to think that just leaving it sprawled out on the ground can't be good for it. Anybody have pix of a simple stand they made?
If you're gonna be leaving it outside, just drill a hole and unhitch n go. Doesn't cost a thing.
4x4s & some H brackets. About $20 and you would be all set.![]()
Brian;
I assume that the horizontal member is put in place before lowering the post hole digger?
Looks like a great idea.
Rick
The horizontal piece is removable and just sits in the saddles. This setup works VERY good and usually only takes about 5 minutes to get all hooked up with ZERO fighting of the implement.![]()
Wr have stored like this for years, never had any trouble with auger bits. LUTTIf you're gonna be leaving it outside, just drill a hole and unhitch n go. Doesn't cost a thing.
Yes, the down pressure kit has saved me days in drilling time.![]()
Brian, is the down pressure kit universal? If so, where are they available and how many $$? Thanks.
