Eric- It's a WR Long unit with Dixon QC's.

Gary- Studied on that. The cost difference from the mechanical was hard to justify with the grapple up front and the type stuff I have planned. I agree that it would have been nice, tho'. Another glaring thing it's missing is a canopy. Momma spent a coupla hours in the seat the other day and sez we're gettin one soon as we figure out which one we like the best.

Texasmark- That's exactly how this high school dropout acquired a vocabulary. Limited as it is. I never skip over a word I do not know the meaning of. Always look it up. It's too easy, with the resources we have available at our fingertips now-a-days.

wmonroe- It's just the timeline of the pics. The thumb didn't come in till a few days after I had the tractor.
It's still on there. Got a l'il workout today, matter-o-fact.

managed to scratch the boom with the bucket.

It's the first thing I did before it even left the barn ! I was checking out how things work and did that.

I got the IH Red Majic paint from TSC and touched it up...a perfect match.

Here's mine. and yes, it's been dirty and washed a couple of times. Both buckets have signs of use. I spent a couple of hours in the woods, digging and moving stuff with both ends. I'm trying not to let the saplings and branches scratch up the loader arm and rear boom. It's tough.

Well, it's been bout a year-and-a-half now for me-n-Scrappy. And I hafta say I couldn't be happier. Bout the only thing I'd gripe about is ground clearance. But that's not been a real big deal. Just annoying on occasion. Got a bit over 200 hours on it now. Done a whole pile of work around the house and out to the hunt club. Made some grand messes. Then cleaned'em up. Hehehe.
Best I can tell is I prolly went a l'il heavy on the grapple bucket. I'd have been better off with a lighter version. Kinda cuts down on my capacity a bit. But on the flip side, I don't think I'm gonna be able to do any damage to this Rake Shop grapple!
A top-n-tilt would be nice. But that's about it.
