My guess is that you'd go with the MF Jerry! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
What do you think of those prices?

They are not bad. I really like my Powershuttle, but would like the PowerShift more. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I know I sound like a broken record, but if you are in the 19K price range and want power and better loader specs, the L4400 is top of the heap....but it is a plain old gear drive.

John, around here the Kubota would have considerably better resale value when the time comes. It may be different in your area but it is something to think about.

Good Luck,
Kevin

I think we are going to try to get one the MF dealer here to give us a good price on the MF1533 and go with that tractor. I thought about going to look at Kubotas again but the local dealer doesn't carry much and doesn't have a good repair shop. We'd have to travel 70 miles one way to the closest good Kubota dealer and the MF dealer is only 18 miles from us so I think having the dealer close by will be what will make the final decision for us. Good luck with this dealer and getting a good price. If you need any more information let us know.

Thanks, we are going up in the morning to see what kind of deal we can do with them. They don't have the tractor with the trans we want in stock so they said they are going to try to locate one and where it comes from will determine the final price they can sell it for. John

Why the expensive tractors? I bought my Case 630, 45hp, 3x4 xmsn, at a dealer for $1500. I had to adjust the brakes, and once had the PTO shell a gear, but that has been in 16 years of ownership. I can use the FEL, rear blade, sickle or bushhog mower, box blade and pull a good load on wagons.
Do not overlook the farm tractors. .

Hi John,
Someone may have already pointed this out, but if you have a CAT dealer close by, you might check there, too. The CAT Challenger MT265B is the same tractor as the MF1533, only in CAT Yellow. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I don't know what the prices are like on the east coast, but out here in the Pacific NW, the CAT was alittle less expensive than the MF, so I got the CAT, but the RED sure is nice too!!!
